Are you pet friendly?

Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your furry friends! We allow up to two pets per space with a $50 pet fee per pet. However, we kindly ask you pick up after your pet to eliminate additional cleaning fees.

Service animals do not directly apply to this policy.

What is our cancellation policy?

We kindly ask you make all cancellations 30 days or more prior to your expected rental date. This allows other potential renters to have the opportunity to book the now available dates and limits your risk of deductions from your refund! If you believe you may be at risk of needing a cancellation within the 30 days prior to your intended stay, you may want to consider travelers (renters) insurance!

Simply Kelleys Resort does not work with or sponsor and travelers (renters). insurance companies; all insurance matters are handled by independent third parties.

Additionally, if needed, please check the ferry schedule (Kelleys Island Ferry Facebook page updates frequently to reflect changes to their regular schedule!) in the event of bad whether causing delays, cancellations, or a varying schedule, this will allow you can plan your arrival accordingly.

Do you have golf carts, (e-)Bikes, etc., available?

Simply Kelleys Resort offers Golf Carts to guest as well as the general public to rent, please note we are first come first served. Unfortunately, we are unable to pick guest up from the ferry, however, there is an affordable taxi on the island if you choose not to bring your vehicle over. Golf Carts are not included in rentals, guest are eligible for a discount if they have reserved a suite with SKR. Please check our “Golf Cart Rental” page for more information. Additionally, we do not have bikes, e-bikes, scooters, etc.

What do i need to bring?

Ideally we want your travel experience to be as smooth as possible and feel as if you are right at home! Here are some items we provide and some we recommend bringing along with you!

Internet is free and available, please check your welcome email for more information!

We provide linens and towels, this does not include beach towels (or beach furniture - folding chairs, etc.,). Additionally, if you tend to get cold easily or enjoy sleeping with multiple blankets, you may want to consider bringing an extra!

We do provide toilet paper, paper towels, dishware, glassware, and trash bags. In some cases what we provide (paper products/trash bags) may not be enough for longer stays, if this is the case you may need to bring an extra roll!

Parking is available on the property, whether you have a bike, golf cart, or car, check the “Parking & Entry” page or your welcome book for the map! Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accommodate boats and trailers.

All of our suites have charcoal fueled grills, if you intend to use them please being charcoal as well as any other necessary items you may need.

We do not provide consumables in any of our suites, feel free to bring along any condiments, your favorite coffee flavored k-cups, food, beverages, and more!

The Great Escape Home:

There is a washer and dryer in the space, please bring along any detergent and other necessary items needed if you intend to use this amenity!

The Great Escape East and the Great Escape West:

There is a fire pit on the premises. This is shared amongst both the Great Escape East as well as the Great Escape West, please communicate with other guest (if applicable) on use and more. Additionally, we do not have wood ready for use on sight, if you intend to use this, we recommend you bring wood in the event there is none already in the pit!

The Lakeview Upper and the Lakeview Lower:

is the surrounding area loud?

While every dining and renting experience can vary depending on the time and size of the crowd, many of our renters have shared that the surrounding area was kept to a comfortable noise level despite being on a commercial property. Although your suite may neighbor the restaurant and/or other suites, no need to worry, this should not disturb your vacationing experience.
